NEW ADDITION COMMUNITY CHURCH
ACTS 2:42-47
God's design is that his church would be a visible representation of Christ’s witness on earth. New Addition Community Church maintains its witness in our community through various ministries and missions. New Addition Community Church is entering a new era that provides both opportunity and environment where we can hear the call of the lost as we simultaneously disciple the saved, creating an environment for the Holy Spirit to do his work both in the church and in
the community
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
Local Missions are service opportunities in your community. A passion for missions doesn’t have to take you overseas; through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can serve as a witness for Jesus Christ in your hometown and surrounding areas. Jesus said in Acts 1:8, “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the remotest part of the earth.” The Great Commission is all encompassing, sending some to foreign missions, but challenging many of us to serve as missionaries right here at home – locally.
SERVANT LEADERHSIP
Servant leadership is a biblical principle that emphasizes humility, selflessness, and putting others before oneself. Scripture repeatedly highlights the importance of leaders serving rather than seeking power or prestige. Here are some key passages and themes:
1. Jesus as the Ultimate Servant Leader - Mark 10:42-45 & John 13:12-17

2. Leadership Rooted in Love and Humility - Philippians 2:3-8 & Matthew 23:11-12

3. Shepherd Leadership (Caring for Others 0 1 Peter 5:2-3 & Psalm 78:72

4. Servant Leadership and Accountability - Luke 12:48 & Proverbs 11:14

5. Developing Servant Leaders - 2 Timothy 2:2 & Titus 1:7-9

Application for Today
Servant leadership is leading with humility, compassion, and a heart to serve others. Whether in ministry, business, or family life, leaders are called to reflect Christ’s example, guiding, equipping, and lifting others up rather than seeking personal gain.
